Costs and fees
The downside of offering a wide-ranging, personalized service is that it can be difficult to provide ‘one-size-fits-all’ quotes.
- Where we can offer fixed fees, in areas such as residential conveyancing and divorce, we do.
- Where we can offer ‘no-win-no-fee’ arrangements (in areas such as personal injury claims), we do.
- Where we are able to provide after-the-event legal costs insurance (in areas such as personal injury and litigation) or help you with the cost of your disbursements (court fees etc.), we do.
We are one of the few remaining firms on the Island to continue to offer free Legal Aid services to clients who qualify (primarily in family, litigation and criminal cases).
We have also recently entered into partnership with Barclays to offer a funding scheme providing access to loans, repayable at the conclusion of your case, so that the cost of your case can be spread out or deferred as you wish.
Whatever the basis on which your case is funded we will always provide an upfront, written estimate of how much the work will cost together with an outline of how our fees are calculated.
We accept payment by credit and debit cards (you’d be surprised how many solicitors still only accept payment by cash, cheque or bank transfer!).
